Quick report
overcast and cold all day long. not much wind in the kaz but blowing at ridgelines. on and off graupel with brief periods of good visibility. snow was generally cold and did not have any sun affect. 2-3 inch reactive storm slab on convexities and near rocky features that propagated widely and easily. soft slab that didn't entrain much snow. we ski cut the top of silver twins on belay and got the whole thing to rip wall-wall.
Snowpack
snowpack is generally rightside up with nice low density snow for 8-10 inches on the surface. most of the slide paths in the kaz slid during the last storm cycle when it got warm. most of them slid full path with huge debris piles at the bottom.
