Quick report
We were traveling with skis in very large group for AIRE 1 field course. No new snow. Firm crust, supportive on skis, breakable with boots. Very difficult travel conditions, came out on summer trail, most creeks not covered with snow. Highest elevation today 1210 m (3970 feet) just above source lake, no softening of crust observed.
