Quick report

Toured from Twin Lakes up Granite Mountain. Observed widespread surface hoar. Did not see any natural avalanche activity or experience signs of instability. Wind was calm, and the day was cold and clear. In isolated terrain features, did see evidence of previous wind loading. Dry loose snow was moving in steeper terrain and required consideration. Checked snow depth in three locations. Measured 145 cm at Twin Lake, 165cm a few hundred feet up in sheltered terrain, and 30cm on the ridge top.
