Lots of collapsing observed near the ridge lines today both in sheltered and wind affected terrain. Visible cracking was present in the stiff wind affected snow in shallow rocky areas. I noticed cracking as far as 20 feet uphill from me and they went as wide as about 40 or 50 feet.
