Avalanche hazard is considerable with persistent slab layer 30-35cm down that both initiates and propagates across the slope with Q1 shear quality for both. Possible D1-D2 avalanches that can be initiated by both skiers and motorized traffic on mid elevations and SE aspect.

Sky Condition: OVC Elev/Aspect: 7640’ SE Wind Speed/Dir: Light SW Slope Angle: 28 degrees Air Temp: -10C Total Snow Depth was 130cm. 130-95 F, 95-85 1F, 85-70 4F, 70-65 P, 65-50 1F, 50-35 P, 35-ground 1F. Snowpack tests: CTM 13 SC at 95cm, ECTP 12 SC also at 95cm.
