We found high winds from the south-west and plenty of snow available for transport. It appeared that cornices were growing on northern and eastern ridges, as well as some wind slabs on eastern aspects.

We observed a large avalanche in the south most bowl on Sweeney. The crown appeared to be somewhere between three to five feet deep and the slide seemed to be an R3.
