Quick report
Toured up to point 6 around 11am from Snowbowl. Winds on the ridges where 20-35 mph from the SW switching to W as the day went on. Winds where relatively calm below ridge lines. Snow fall was very sporadic with heavy snow rates at times. New snow was anywhere from 15cm to 25cm deep by the end of the day. I dug a snow pit on a SE aspect at 7800ft and found just shy of 200cm of snow. Performed a column test and got an ECTN7 under the new snow and ECTN 14 on a crust about 40cm down. Overall the new snow did not appear to be bonding well and was quick to slide on the crust below. Did not observe any instability deeper than the new snow, besides in the ECT. Stuck to skiing terrain on the windward side with caution and the new snow was manageable.

This avalanche was triggered while traversing the top of a steep roll over. It propagated about 80ft wide and 6 inches deep as a cohesive slab of all new snow.
