Log Cabin

We had snow flurries continuously while at Log Cabin today. We skied low angle terrain and found great powder skiing at and below treeline. Ski penetration to approximately 35 cm. A test pit at treeline showed 150cm total snow depth with 50cm of new storm snow on a crust. Winds picked up in the mid to late afternoon, and wind transport of new snow was evident.
