Quick report
Overcast all day with nearly no wind, a surprising zipper crust that eventually tapered off to evenly distributed “dust on crust” above ~5k, approx 3” fresh. No significant signs of excessive wind loading, though the ridgeline was buffed. No signs of snow slabbing off of the old layer below while riding but skinning was a little tricky due to hard layer below soft new. crampons helped. We approached via fish lake by snowmobile, snow below 2800’ is in bad shape or is actually just dirt.
