Talked with numerous ski guides and avalanche professionals. A common theme in test pits was CTH 23-24 Sudden Planar results down 80-85 cm on Surface Hoar sz 5-10cm, Alpine and treeline on All Aspects. Found in heavily traveled areas as well as less frequented locations.
