We found crusts developing on S facing aspects while N aspects were wind loaded and skiing well.
~20cm of new snow sitting on a hard crust, this layer was poorly bonded. We triggered a couple size 1 dry loose slides above treeline.
Below treeline (1500m) the snow was wet and heavy, with poor bonding. It was easy to trigger small wet loose sluffs that ran for up to 10m in length on steeper terrain.
