Pillows

We skied a couple NW facing laps from treeline into the valley bottom. The wind was getting everywhere and moving a lot of snow however in sheltered areas the skiing was great with boot top low density snow on a firm surface. We kept it pretty mellow but had a great time playing on the thick pillows of snow covered rocks. Nice day out sniffing out powder lines. No signs of recent avalanches but the south wind was relocating a lot of snow in exposed areas most of of the day.
