Quick Observation
Widespread touchy storm slabs releasing on test slopes and, whumpfing and lots of shooting cracks breaking trail, some propogations over 50m. All failing 20-25cm down on surface hoar up to 30mm on top of buried crust. Slab on top of the weak layer was heavy fist storm snow. Observed debris from a recent sz 2 avalanche on SW aspect off of Eagle peak running over the 'Pracice slopes' ski runs, as well as a as 1.5 running through the Dogleg couloir off Glacier Crest. Warm, muggy day. We minimized exposure keeping to conservative terrain and enjoyed mellow pow laps.
