Much like recent reports from the Yukon Field team and Eirik, the snowpack was tight around Bryant Lake and Summit Creek. We did observe 2 small size 1 slabs on a steep east slope on the west side of Crater Lake but suspect they were from Thursday. Still lots of good sledding to be had in low-lying sheltered spots.
Slides were on the west side of the Chilkoot Trail, observed from the notch. Looked similar to those posted by Bill Glude last week.
Cool day but the sun is finally doing its job, and it was a pretty pleasant day. High temp in the shade was -20 at Summit Creek.
