Blackcomb backcountry tour. Skinned up climbers right Decker Gl., noticed debris piles from most large alpine terrain features from the previous warm storm. Did not dig but probed at 2250m between 220-280cm HS. Bottom 1.5-2m snowpack seems fairly strong. Top 1m snowpack structure seems overall weak with several crust layers and 30cm F recent snow that has been lightly pressed by the wind in isolated spots but overall ski quality is quite good and consistent in the near country. Skied Wind curl skier’s right on 9th Hole with no reactivity. Steep south facing shots down to Decker Lake had dry snow but SW aspects at TL below Disease Ridge had a sun crust. Of note, there is one open crevasse hole 50m below the col of climbers right Decker Gl and a small cornice cleave to cross once on the ridge. (See photo)
