Quick Observation

We went up to pedley to check out the conditions for the late season riding, and we were quite shocked. The snowline is now around 1700m and where we parked (1900m) there was 2-3 ft of snow still! (in some spots 4ft) at the tarn turning point on the summer trail (around 2300m) there was still 6.5 feet of snow in spots! at the summit of the mountain there was only 80cm of slop but there's more once you drop in the bowl. The riding was pretty good up high, slush/corn snow only sinking 10cm maxas you got lower it started to get pretty darn slushy but overall for bassicly june, these are really good conditions. Definitely a above average snowpack for this tim of year!

Weather

The weather was pretty decent, it got below or freezing level overnight. Later in the day the snow got more and more wet but it was still good riding

Snowpack

Snowpack was HUGE for late may
