Snow depth was 80cm on an east facing slope at 6930', which is more than I would have expected for this time of year.
Not too much wind on east facing slopes below 7800', the snow was soft and wasn't wind damaged. Above 7800' the wind was picking up a lot of snow and moving it around. The best skiing was in the trees, where there was a bit of protection from the wind.
I didn't see any natural avalanches on the headwall, nor did I observe any cracking or collapsing during my tour.
