Quick report

Cracking
isolated

Strong winds from W/SW. Rapid snow accumulation ~1” per hour in the morning ~10” fresh in protected areas Moist snow below ~7200’ Top 3-4” of higher density snow resulting in natural soft slabs. Natural observed about 30ft wide on SW slope about 7400’. No other naturals observed, this layer seemed more reactive at lower elevations with the new snow being higher density. When skiing, on SW slopes between 9k’ and 7400’ about 30 degrees, this layer would break ~3-5ft cracks/slabs but soft so would fall apart immediately.
