Quick report

Lots of wind affect texturing the snow from last nights wind. On our tour up IM past Gold Cord Mine and up the S side of Friendship Pass we found up to 4” of soft wind crust. At one switchback we had a couple small plates break off but no significant slabs or cracking. The ski down the snow was grabby. Winds were generally calm to light, with some moderate gusts going up to the pass. Temps were very mild.

Saw a few small avalanches that likely released during the storm. One on theArchangel side of Marmot appeared to be a point release or a small storm slab. On the N side of 4068 and in Eldorado Bowl the avalanches looked to have released on the basal facet layer
