Quick report

good snow coverage in the lakes basin 4-6 inches near the gate once you got higher up near lake George snow saw about 12 inches deep, near the top of red cone snow was even deeper approximately 20inches. the top or red cone clearly was wind effected with some small wind cornices on the eastern (skier's right) side of the bowl. the top was also a little crusty and the bottom of the bowl has not really filled in so you needed to stay high and skiers right to be able to ride out. the trees below the bowl were fun and consistently about 20 inches deep but none of the snow has consolidated so it was still very sharky. the exit above horseshoe lake was also more cliffy that in the deep winter and I needed to down climb a section I have been able to ski down in the past.
