- <p>Unfortunately, the Skyline is suffering from the long dry spells like the rest of Northern Utah which has created numerous layers of weak sugary snow.</p>
While there is plenty of weak snow, the most recent storm did not produce enough to overload them as far as I could see. Winds are expected to increase on Saturday which will increase the danger by drifting snow into stiff slabs on these faceted weak layers.

3 to 5 inches of new snow, fairly unaffected by the wind even up on top of Fairview Canyon, high on SR 31.
