Quick report
Observation texted to the forecaster from the public: A party of 4 split into pairs. The first pair (skiers 1 & 2) descended the center of Rock Creek bowl (southeast-facing, 35-40 degree terrain). The 3rd/4th skiers wanted to ski something with a lower angle. 3rd skier crossed the slope that would avalanche later with no cracking. The 4th skier followed the 3rd skier and the slope broke behind them, very slowly. Initially, just a small slab released in a drift, then a 2nd, larger connected slab further up the slope broke, then a 3rd part much further up the slope in the high-frequency start zone pulled out last. The series of slides grew into a large avalanche that erased skier 3 and 4's tracks.

A group of skiers descended terrain yesterday. Another pair of skiers skied the slope today. Reportedly, the 2nd of the two triggered the slide, which started as a small wind slab and stepped down. The slope spans E to SE aspects.
