Perhaps this was a natural conice drop or the Powderbirds were in skiing the saddle of the shoulder of Gobblers down into Alexander so perhaps they threw a bomb, but the avi swept over the cliffbands in upper Alexander Basin before settling in the bottom of the basin.

Forecaster Comments: In conversations with other reporting parties this avalanche was most likely triggered by a cornice fall during/after the most recent wind event.
