Quick report
On a traverse from Teton pass to Teton Village, many old crowns observed from previous avalanche cycle. The slab over facets general snowpack structure was consistent throughout the traverse, though had variability depending on aspect, with southerly aspects showing a much more consolidated/dense slab. Snowpack felt stable and nonreactive, even in steep shaded north locations. Snow surfaces ranged from near surface sugar, to hard crust or breakable crust, to very hard and slick melt-freeze surfaces (see photo).
