Quick report
10-12” of storm snow from Thursday/ Friday storm. Lots of traffic on Saturday with only a couple smaller skier triggered avalanches in warm up and Peak to Creek. A few natural slabs observed, lower in warm up bowl and Zero bowl . Nothing very connected. All skier-triggered size D1- 1.5. Lots of loose dry activity on all the steeper ski lines…. Warm up, Zero bowl, Widow maker, Juniors.

High clouds, clearing by the afternoon. Winds light and variable (less than 5 mph). Temps were climbing through the day, mid to high 20s F by mid afternoon.
Snowpack
We dug a pit on Seattle Ridge at 2,900' (East asp). 10-12" of low density storm snow on top of first hard (very loose) facets. It appears that all the avalanche activity we've seen this weekend is failing in these facets that formed during the mid-March cold snap. We were starting to feel sun effect on the surface by the time we left the field, around 2pm.

Observed a couple of skier triggered soft slab avalanches this morning. These were triggered yesterday, 3/21. Looked to be 8-12” deep, relegated to the storm snow, over facets. Naturals in Zero bowl, Warm-up, and far side of Seattle Creek from Friday/ Saturday. All were in the D1-2 range.
