Lower Elk Creek

I was carried the length of the slide and partially buried. It started in a small pocket of trees at like 10,450 ft and ran 250 ft through some glades. I got stitches in the face from trees/debris and blew out my knee getting pinned in the trees for a bit. No one else was in the slide. It was on Friday at like 1:00pm. Went the whole morning on the same face with no signs of instability, it made me a tad complacent and I poked into a pocket I shouldn’t have been in and it all went at once.
