Quick report
Tincan West Bowl had old debris from recent storm slabs that were buried by new snow. There was one small D1 soft slab avalanche upslope from the cornice that looked skier-triggered. We witnessed only one smaller slab avalanche from a common bowl cornice drop.

2nd Skier triggered the slide on the top of the slope, stopping to get eyes on the first skier. Slab fractured approximately 5' above the skier and propagated an estimated 150 feet wide. The skier was able to dig in and was not carried. The slab was soft, fast-moving and created a large powder cloud. The first skier was on the bottom of the run still skiing when the avalanche was triggered, and was able to ski into the trees to get away from the avalanche powder cloud. A bystander initiated a transceiver search, not knowing if someone was buried in the debris. No one was buried.
