I started hiking up Flagstaff shoulder today at 6 a.m. after transitioning at the top I directed my descent on the east facing slope. Between 9500' and the summit (I believe that is 10,200'), I skied conservatively and ski cut. I set off 4 wind slabs, all about 7 or 8 feet wide. Two were South/SE facing, two others were directly east facing.
