Quick report
Today we toured to Skookaleel adjacent to WMR. Sunny south facing aspects had a sun crust that was breaking down by around 12:00 pm, except near the top where wind seemed be keeping the snow colder. We dug a pit on a south facing aspect at approximately 6750'. Our pit had a partial propagation (about halfway across the column) above a 1" thick crust 20 cm down, with moderate force (15 taps). Shaded aspects still had dry snow upon our exit around 2:00 pm.
