Hiking behind Brighton today, and experienced some very strong winds depositing lots of snow onto the easterly facing slopes. We popped a small isolated wind slab on our way down to lake mary on a small easterly facing slope and witnessed a natural slide on the east face of mt millicent above the big cliff band. Once a bit above lake martha heading towards lake catherine we saw this fairly decent sized crown up on the tuscarora shoulder. These wind slabs are definitely something to keep in my mind going into our next storm.
