Heavily snowing for most of the day. No sign of PWL in the upper elevation North facing spot I dug a pit (pictured). I would expect to see loose dry activity on steeper slopes within this new light and weak surface snow.

HS 254. HN24 14cm of very light F- snow @ 1pm. Overall, structurally solid snow pack in this spot. Potential problem layer is this new, low density snow if it gets high density new snow, wind loading, or rain on it in thru the weekend.

Snowpack

As of the early afternoon, around 6" of new low density snow has fallen with it still snowing heavily. Periods of S2+ with large, cold flakes.
