-
We noted no red flags.... Snow showed fair to good stability.

The starting zone of "Check Your Pants" cracked and collapsed late in the intense storm on Monday 12-17-2012. The slab moved a few inches but it did not run down-slope despite adequate slope steepness (around 39 degrees). I think several other slopes did the same thing during Monday's snow and wind event.
The low ice cloud rolled in in the afternoon, creating otherworldly sun dogs....
We found good shallow powder conditions and the snow was fast enough for enjoyable riding, even on lower angled slopes....

-
Rather unlikely from what I could see, but very bad consequences possible if one were to trigger an avalanche...

Supportable on skis and sled under around 6" of light powder from late in 12-17 storm. Sinking in above knees with boots only...
