Quick report
6,500 feet on a 30 degree, east facing slope. Snow was 195cm to ground with crust layers at ~25cm (new storm snow) and ~70cm down (solid storm slab). We dug a pit and performed a single column and extended column test. We had a CT12 failure on the 25cm layer, just below the crust on collapsed hoar frost, but the column didn't pop and barely moved. The 70cm layer failed on CT14, with similar results. The extended column failed on the lower crust at ECT22, but did not pop out either. We skied the slope and had great conditions, hardly any slough and no signs of any issues. There was signs of natural snow shedding off the cliffs/rock bands.
