Quick report
Drove up to the closed gate on Everitt Meml Hwy at McBride Springs to look at snow conditions at the McBride Springs trailhead. Encountered some county workers who were parked at the gate. They said that Everitt is currently plowed up to Everitt Point (6100') but that it could be as long as a month(!!) until they can clear snow the rest of the way to Bunny Flat (and presumably the road will remain closed at McBride Springs until then). They are apparently waiting on replacement parts/equipment for the blower(s), and their other equipment is insufficient to clear the road beyond Everitt Point. There appears to be just enough snow to start skinning from McBride Springs, though there may be bare patches further up the forest road that I couldn't see from Everitt. There is at least several feet of snow on the ground at the ski park (5500') so probably snow depth ramps up quickly as you ascend from McBride.
