Quick report
Road Ob - A small glide release occurred on the southern end of Seattle Ridge overnight, between sundown on 2/7 and sunrise on 2/8. This avalanche - around 2800' on a SE aspect - didn't have an obvious, large brown crack yesterday, at least not one that was apparent in the sunburst webcam (see side by side below). That said, the closeup photo of the glide avalanche shows how just a portion of this crack has released, and a second crack in close proximity to it is full of snow. The larger, more obvious pair of glide cracks (also pictured below) that have been opening for the past week have still not released.
