Quick report
We traveled on most aspects during our tour, and found everything from cold, dry snow on north-facing slopes and in the shade, to wet snow to the ground on west and southwest aspects in the afternoon (HS only about 50cm). Surface conditions are highly variable overall, depending on solar exposure and wind. Numerous D1 wet loose avalanches from the past few days on all but north aspects. Cloud cover until about 11 am and a light wind in the afternoon seemed to prevent any new activity today. Low elevation snow cover has deteriorated rapidly this week. There is quite a bit of walking required below Hyalite Lake, and Lick Creek Meadow looks barely skiable. D1 wet loose activity present from the past few days on all but north aspects up to 10,000 ft. No new activity witnessed today.

Skies were scattered until 11 am, then became clear. Calm winds in the morning, becoming light in the afternoon out of the west.
