Observation: Beaver Canyon

Snowpack is pretty well locked up in this zone - we found very firm conditions with some dust on crust. Last week's rain event created a solid crust (breakable in places) near the surface - it is covered in places by just an inch or two of light density snow which is already starting to facet. Very slippy skinning today.
