Quick report
The objective of today was to assess the mountain conditions mid-storm. As expected, it's full-on storm conditions out there. Easterly winds blew strong across all terrain below, near, and above treeline. Snow continued to accumulate through the day, totaling ~8 inches by 4pm. No instabilities were observed.

Today was the beginning of a large low pressure system impacting the forecast area. Snow fell all day, though it was very hard to discern the total amount of snow due to the wind. Strong winds blew from the east and south all the way down to Bunny Flat. Near and above treeline, wind blew strong, and visibility was poor.
Snowpack
The strong easterly wind has already had a huge impact on the distribution of new snow. Leaving Bunny Flat, wind ripples had formed on the road to Old Ski Bowl. These little ripples became large waves, and drifts upper elevation terrain. Many areas have been scoured down to the old snow surface, exposing old ski snowmobile tracks. Other areas had large bulges of wind drifted snow. The poor visibility made it very challenging to see the surface texture during travel.
