Quick report

Observed light, low density snow from the recent storm as we traveled through terrain and dug a pit on an East facing aspect around 2,000ft in elevation at 12:45pm. Overcast skies, little to no wind, cold temps. Found light, fist hard snow on top of a very thin, pencil hard crust 30cm down, 10cm of 4F snow, some knife hard rain crust and 1F snow below. Results: CT16 30cm down on thin pencil hard crust layer; ECTN21 30cm down on same crust. Did not observe any shooting cracks or blowing snow in this area.
