Quick report
- Collapsing
- isolated
It was wet out today. 36 degrees and nearly raining at Bunny. The powder from the past few days has been degraded by the wet snow making for some sludgy turns. We stuck to slopes under 30 degrees as it seems that there is a cohesive slab forming. At our transition point around 8.3k visibility was low. We felt some collapsing on our way up on a leeward slope below the ridge line, but didn’t observe any shooting cracks. New snow totals we observed were between 1 and 2 feet depending on aspect/elevation.
