Central Gully

I climbed Central Gully this afternoon. About 30 -40 yards below the narrow ice constriction in central gully both of my tools punched through the snow. After 9-12 inches of snow, there was a gap of at least a few inches. Given that I was fairly close to the ice patch above, it seemed safer to continue up. I did without incident.
