Test pit 2172m 30degrees ENE aspect 150HS 25HST since Jan 11th Top F 4f 1f p 1f ground SKY Overcast PRECIP s les then 1 Light west winds -10.9C TEMP CTm 17 br down 25 on Jan 11th sh Cth24 sp down 50 on dec 27th sh Ectn (although when a skier walked above it slid clean into the pit) seems low probability high consequence but not a very proffesional observation. Alot of uncertainty with this result Rode conservative line down the ridge n cut into the lower avy track shooting cracks n settlement on steep side cuts on avy track sides at about 1700m elev, they wouldn't be able to move anywhere in that specific feature but might be an indication of stability in thinner snow pack areas that are steeper with more run out. ( not a proffesional observation) Large cornices and wind loading at ridge top around 2300m, temps were - 19c at the car at 9:30am at 1220m
