East of Reesor

Skiing and boarding in a bowl east of Mt. Reesor on Sunday. Dug a quick pit and found Hs 175. Soft raincrust 60 cm down, bottom 50 cm was all loose facets. Quite solid and unreactive except for the 10-15 cm storm snow interface. Dug a column out and it was as solid as we see around here. Really wind blasted up top, even on lee slopes, but good consistent wind buff below that. Powder in the trees.
