Summit Creek

Windy and stormy at first, by noon the skies were breaking. Ride quality was great, there is around 30 cm of nice powder! It isn’t adhering to the sugary layer underneath it. This layer was sliding on steeper slopes that we rode. While not much of a concern at the moment, with more storms on the horizon, this layer could become an issue down the road. Beneath the new layer of powder the snow is very stable. No shooting cracks or whumpfing.
