Quick report
I wanted to see what came unglued during the warm-up earlier this week. The posted avalanche was the largest that I found during my travels. I saw too many smaller wet avalanches to count out there today; some were wet loose but more wet slab than anything. I saw wet avalanches on North, West, and South aspects. Once I got above 9000ft the avalanches were mostly wet loose. Snow quality ranged from poor to moderate, depending on aspect and elevation. Most of the instability observed was from the previous days. No active instability observed.

Scattered clouds and moderate wind out of the West. Temperature was warm at lower elevations and cooled off to below freezing at 9000 ft.
Snowpack
Superficial refreeze below 7500 ft. Underneath the thin surface crust was wet snow as far down as my pole would go. There was a more solid freeze in clearings or above 8000 ft.

I saw numerous wet avalanches during my travels today. This was the largest that I came across. Large wet avalanche that ran from likely quite high in the path.
