Quick report

With 3 inches of rain over the last few days, we saw the top 6-12 inches of snow saturated with water. In general, we observed dry snow below the 1/20 crust/interface. We performed saw propagation tests on crusts on and above the solstice crust with no propagating results from any layers we tested (see photo). Side note, creek crossings may start to be opening up again this week.

Avalanche

Natural wet loose activity on nearly all steep rocky terrain likely from the previous 24 hours. Minimal debris noted on the Chair Peak apron, likely originated within the Chair Peak basin (see photo). We did not see any active avalanche activity while skiing.
