Quick report
We dug a pit on a north aspect at 6000’ and observed a failure at the 30cm crust in storm snow. Non propagating failure at the 8th tap from the elbow in a ECT Wind loaded aspects near ridge line were reactive. There is a second crust at approximately 60cm. Snow depth in our pit was 130-150cm
Avalanche
Triggered a d1 storm slab in southback near Boxcar on a ski cut recent d1 near Joe’s shoulder. Appeared to be a natural from cliffy terrain.
