Quick report

Cold day on the Volcano! We approached via Heliotrope. Evidence of active wind loading on the Roman Wall turned us around at 9000ft. No signs of instability on our route. Skiing was a mix of wind board, blown snow and wind crust with some good turns going out Grouse Creek. Evidence of wind loaded terrain on the upper mountain. The glacier provided easy navigation around the holes. Surface hoar is robust in the valley, in wind sheltered areas.
