Overcast day with s-1 snow and moderate winds at the ridge line . Some drifting snow was observed. Very slab like new snow. Got some interesting test results in my pit (SE @ 5054'). There is a thin layer of facets above the MF crust (about 32cm deep in a clearly wind-affected area) ECTP5 @32cm. See the attached file for the snow pit, and other results. The sun seemed to be making an appearance as I was leaving the field around 2:00pm.
