Quick report
We skied steep slopes today and did not observe any signs of instability. I suspected we might find some wind slabs based on the winds we observed yesterday, but could not find any.
Weather
Moderate cold wind blowing from NW that started mid morning.
Snowpack
I probed 200cm HS in sheltered locations. It seems mostly right side up except for the 12/5 layer. Surface conditions vary from sun crust to wind crust to wind board to facets. We observed surface hoar in many sheltered locations. The facet factory is in fully swing right now.
